Commonly known as Parshallville Cider Mill.

This Mill, one of the last water-powered grist mills to operate in Michigan was built in 1869. It was purchased by Tom Walker and John Browning for $10,000 in 1878. From then on, the Walker family was involved with the mill for three generations. Tom Walker, a grandson, took over the mill's operation in 1926 Until he retired in 1969 and sold the mill. He ground grain for no more than seven cents a bag.

Water WheelToday, the mill plays host to a bustling apple cider mill. Cider, donuts, fresh pies and other baked goods are available for sale. Many varieties of fresh apples are sold by the basket, along with caramel apples. There is always something going on for the kids at Parshallville Cider Mill. Periodically, there is live acoustic entertainment.

With a pumpkin patch, hay rides, pony rides and a bounce house, Parshallville Cider Mill is an outstanding family destination for fall in Michigan. A rolling creek and waterfall make for excellent scenery and a relaxing atmosphere.

Driving Directions:
Take US-23 to the Clyde Road exit. Go left on Clyde Road. Turn right on to Old US-23 at the four-way stop. Turn left on to Parshallville Road and follow it in to the village.

Hours for the Parshallville cider mill are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm. On Saturday and Sunday the hours are, 8am to 6pm. Parshallville Cider Mill opens Labor Day weekend and remains open through the month of November.
