Huron Meadows Metropark, a 1,500 acre recreational area, features an 18 hole golf course that offers cross-country skiing during the winter. The park also has boat rentals, six miles of walking trails, fishing areas and picnic areas with a ball diamond and volleyball court.

Kensington Metropark, located in both Livingston and Oakland Counties, is home to an 18 hole golf course and a farm center. Softball diamonds, a disc golf course, volleyball courts, playgrounds, nature trails for hiking and bicycling and areas for horseback riding, fishing, swimming, boating and picnicking. Boat rentals are available. In the winter, visitors may sled, toboggan, cross-country ski and ice skate.
